a7x had their first independent gig here at the max pavilion. started of with a odd fight between 2 malays. i reckon one of them told the other that he likes britney spears and the latter went apeshit. haha. and then it was the mad rush for the doors. desiree was amused at a indian dude and his witty comments. the dudes started to sing the national anthem and recite the pledge while waiting for the doors to be opened. random shouts. of LEE KUAN YEW and CHAR KWAY TEOW. and when the doors opened it was a tidal wave of bodies pushing forward. it was nothing compared to what happened inside. the front was so damn claustro that a few young kids fainted from the weight of pushing sweaty bodies. i swear the mosh pit was safer than being in the crowd of sweaty bodies. when one dude falls the rest fall like dominoes if they don't push back. sevenfold was fucking awesome. m shadows blew the stage. and then.... fucking unholy confessions was played. and i got apeshit and joined the mosh. half way through 2 elbows connected with my face consecutively and i went WOAH and sat down for 10 seconds. ahah. next year they shall return with all awesomeness.

The weekend was spent at the Singapore Grand Prix. big fat voodoo bout of unluckiness for the ferrari team. first massa was given the green light at the pit stops prematurely and we see him ripping off the fueling hose along with a crew member as the tumble on to the ground with petroleum spewing all over. then raikonnen contested for the "4th position" and smacked into a wall. i stop waving my ferrari flag in shame. haha.

And so I’ve decided to resuscitate this journal.

MC has been persuading me to go for laser tattoo removals. But I have yet to find a solid reason to do so. To me it is unnecessary to remove them at this point in time. Although the social stigma is still lurking its head in 2008, it only brings me to wonder why is contemporary society incepting of tattoos. The answer I find is that of lack of education and fear.

It is only natural for any living creature to fear and shun anything they do not understand and what they feel is out of the norm. But like all fears and misunderstanding they can be conquered by education and reason. Tattoos have been associated with the triads in the W Generation. However we are currently living in the Y generation. Taking into mind that ‘change is the only constant’, we must open and educate ourselves for whatever unnatural occurrences that our children, grandchildren, etc. will engage in. many people are resistant to change. Choosing to stay in their comfort zone, which coats their minds with stereotype and prejudice, the worst being racism, fascism and the likes of such.

Of course I don’t blame the W for fear of tattooed people as they have spent most of their lives around the few bad eggs of tattooed people and have never really met any nice and well-mannered ones. This is my life ambition to be the first of the nice and well-mannered ones in many of their lives.

Why people tattoo and mark themselves constitute of hundreds of reasons. Some of which I can name at the top of my head are, identification and memoir. Nowadays, people will frown if you speak for racism and fascism openly, but truth be told, every one of us holds a spot of prejudice against everything. It is just the way we are wired and how we learn; like how we associate flowers with life and will never know better when grasping a poison ivy by its petals. In most cases we only learn through experiences, not books or the things that we are thought in school. How did we learn to walk? Well of course by trying to walk by our very own selves. I just ask that the W generation taste the food before rejecting it for its unusual looks.

On top of all this, lots of shit has happened. I’ve redone my room. Got a wicked cool partner and have been mindlessly going to school for FYP. I’ve got a couple things to do now like prettifying this template and painting a mighty cool mask that I got.

School has been a drag lately, (who am i kidding about lately its always), waking up at 630 in the morning is not human at all. The sun hasn't even rose for God's sake! mtprac paper today was like having a class tutorial. even the damn invigilator joined in the discussions discretely, but maybe cause he was one of our teachers.

common tests aside... its the month of DECEMBER.

December...mmmm i can still taste and smell the air of Perth. me pulling my luggage out of the boarding house into the warm december sunshine, sometimes with occasional flies buzzing around. my tiny brick room where i had so much joy and sorrows. having my friends just a brick wall away. i've left all that a year ago. that's just the first part........

i love the nostalgia of going on a plane. seeing the lights of changi airport is like seeing a mother stretching out her arms to hug her child in her bossom. setting foot on singapore soil and giving my sweetheart a call. she was always so happy on these days...yes.. WE were so happy. and now its broken. and i let the monster come out again that night. i'm so sorry i did. but it felt good. something i learned that night, it was much easier to hate than to love. it felt natural. there's this sense of satisfaction when mr hyde comes out. the adrenalin! the thrill of seeing someone's life at your mercy!

BUT

Been MIA for the past few weeks. Had some complications to settle but its all good and alright now. Shocking news of the passing of a Global Icon, Steve Irwin, from young he has always been my favourite real life tv character. He was a good bloke with a heart of gold. It is very depressing to hear of his untimely and freakish death. Nevertheless, he has left the world fulfilling his dreams and living life to the fullest, he has enjoyed the quality of life rather than the quantity. I pray for him that he may find eternal rest in the arms of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

Went to DblO with cherrlyn and nicole last night, and cherrlyn's friend as well. Damn she had the craziest boyfriend ever. Overly freakishly possesive, even hit her in public for going out with her male cousin. I would gladly take down this kinda guys anyday. They should be tourtured then hung pubically. Weak cowardly individual.

DblO was a great night, having good friends like nicole and cherrlyn is one of the best things ever. They are a lively and lovely bunch, never cease to put a smile on my face. Cheers to friends!

yesterday i had the chance to catch up with my australian college friends that have come down to singapore for their holidays. i burned my pocket at lau pa sat, here's the break down:

kickboxing training on last thursday was super. i sparred with an indian clubmate, probably heavier than me. 4or 5 kicks and the match was over. the last kick being one straight on his left cheek. could've KOed. thanks to Yas and Sou who trained me back in perth. Have not updated for quite awhile. On tuesday was one of the best spars i had. My right rib kicks proved to be fast. it was a funny spar.

Last night was St. Nick's jubilate performance , at Kallang theatre. The Chinese , String Orchestra and band were to be comended. The other performances were average. There was a terrible feedback(the stupid static screeching sound from the mic) during one skit.When i cheered for my sister everyone around me looked at me as though i was on crack. A group of girls across the aisle kept pointing at me and whispering. Maybe cause i was the only non- 'St Nickleon' cheering. Across the aisle were the same group of girls. One of them screamed like a man. They caught my brother and i laughing at them. One girl said: " They are laughing at us". The male voiced girl was the most entertaining of the night. We had a new part of EEPS today, it was as boring as shit. 4-5hours on safety procedure.It was seriously hell. The boredom ate into most of the class and we decided to boycott the Fatty Foo's lesson. We went bowling and played some games at the arcade. Relived lost childhood. And old friend Aileen studying in Perth now. She lost her faith in God, however she is smart enough to reason it well. Damn well in fact. I was stunned by her 'challenges' i couldn't fight for my own faith well. Lord, give me the wisdom to fight in your name.After talking to Aileen, i went to eat some mango ice cream, then read some of Rachel's letters. The things she said are so encouraging, but as it turns out to be now. Aiyah i don't know if its real or not. Love is complicated overated underated. Love is fucked. Today we went to suntec for bbq buffet at NUS graduate society club house. Basket! Had to wear collar shirt. Damn it! the receptionist said she can loan collar shirts. Ok lor see how it was. This morning, i just recieved news that one of my mate's mum has passed on. Shocking as it is. It reminds me of the fragility of human life. We are paper thin under the might and will of God. Last night i just completed a oil pastel drawing of St Joseph, the patron saint of a peacful death. I pray that St Joseph has watched over Mrs Fernendez and ensured her a smooth journey to eternal life with the Father.

Lycanthropy is closely related to cannibalism. The nightly activities of a werewolf were believed to be hunt, murder, and eat their victims. The british writer Robert Eisler created an complex theory about sadomasochism and lycanthropy. Some may argue that the atrocities reported were just the work of individuals, but how can u ignore the fact that American authorities are destroying any eveidence that speaks against their phony cause. While we know war is about killing, we are never shown pictures of bodies, the blood and horror of a war. Instead we are shown bythe so called 'truth' seeking medias pictures of soldiers firing at nothing.. you just see them shooting don't you but there is no target, its all part of propaganda, hasn't America done enough damage to society by scarring us through mass media influence. the message given by these clips and pictures is clear : "war sheds no blood, everyone has a clean death, just a bullet hole or two on their chest nothing much, yeah... just like how the baddies die in holywood movies... chest a bullet hole.. nothing much"
